Lovers in the Garden
This
design is based on the picture of a lover and
his lady that is
the frontispiece to Christine de
Pisan’s ‘Book of 100
Ballades’. The fabric
used is 24 count congress cloth. This
29
colour kit is the most complicated design to
date and not
for the inexperienced stitcher
but the remarkable results make
this design
a certain winner.

Tournament Kit

manuscript around 1445.
The drawings were intended to show the
display of arms of the jousting knights.
This is one of the
